Description
An early work by Alan Preston that explores the use of coconut shell, a customary Pacific adorment material with metal. Exhibited in the Pacific Adornment show at the Dowse in 1985. A precursor piece to Bone Stone Shell 1988. Alan Preston is one of the founding members of Fingers jewellery gallery and cooperative beginning in Auckland in 1974.
