Description
Tall bottles with exagerated thin necks are a distinctive part of Tony Kuepfer’s practice. The raised relief on the body of the vase was a technique taught by master glass blower Fred Daden who Kuepfer spent a month training with in 1977. The relief design was inspired by Kuepfer's walks through the bush around Mt Taranaki and refers to the long hanging vines, moss and supplejack he encountered.
